HERstory
For designer Raquel M. Horn, jewelry has always carried more than beauty — it holds memory, meaning, and power. Some of her earliest inspirations came as a child, traveling with her family to gem shows in North Carolina, where she panned for gold and rubies and began her first collection of stones. Later, while studying at the University of Arizona, the Tucson Gem Show opened her eyes to rare gems she had never seen before, deepening her respect for their metaphysical properties. The desert also gave her a lasting love for turquoise, which she incorporated into her original RMH handbag line. This lifelong journey with stones naturally led Raquel to emeralds — the rarest, most regal gem — as the focus of her debut jewelry collection, where personal history meets timeless design.
